4.6.2017 PRAYER OF SALVATION

God is extremely loving and merciful, but God is also a Holy, righteous and Just Judge who hates sin and has promised to punish every single sin ever committee. God always keeps His promises so al sins WILL be punished, including all of mine and all of yours.
There are only two places in the entire universe where sin can and will be punished. One is on my back in Hell, the other is on Jesus’ back on the cross. To transfer my sins (or yours) from ourselves onto Jesus—three things are required.
-we must first believe (which means to trust in Jesus.)
-we must receive Jesus into our heart and life allowing Him to be our savior and Lord.
-We must also repent, which means to turn away from the things we know to be wrong (sin).
The choice is yours.
Hebrews 9.27—and as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.  Romans 3.23-all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  James 2.10-for whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  Romans 6.23-for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Revelation 20.11-15-and I saw a great white throne and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
 Prayer of Salvation…
Dear Father,
I come to You admitting that I have sinned and made many mistakes. I am sorry for those sins—and I ask You to forgive me. And I do receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, to save me from the penalty of my sins—His death on the cross as payment for my sins. Jesus being treated the way I deserve to be treated so that I could be treated the way He deserves to be treated. I know that I do not deserve that, but y faith I receive this free gift of salvation. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for dying for me. Now help me to live a life that would honor You—not as an effort to earn Your favor, but simply as a way of saying thank You for Your free gift of salvation. may I never take for granted the price You paid to save me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
