5.1.2017 WOULD YOU PRAY WITH US AS WE GO UP TO PIKANGIKUM RESERVE IN JULY?

pray that the Ojibwe people will believe what the Bible says about Jesus, that He is God ('Jesus says, 'I and the Father are one. John 10.30) and
...that they will believe that God loves them  and that, because of this Love, He sent His Son, Jesus, to this earth for one reason only and that was to be beaten and mocked and rejected by the very ones for whom He was dying.(Jesus said to Nicodemus, 'for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life'.) John 3.16
... that they, believing that God's love to them was shown by Jesus suffering and dying for their sins, would experience the love of God shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, who God gives to them.
...that they would realize that when they were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for them
...that even now as they sin against God, He commends His love to them in that while they are still sinners, Christ, still, died for them,
much more then, may they then, being now justified by His blood, believe that they shall be saved from the wrath of God through Jesus.
for if, when we were enemies, they were reconciled to God by the death of His so, much more, being reconciled, they will be saved by His life. Romans 5.5-10

these people have been and may still be mistreated by the people in power. pray that they may, trust in and yield obedience to Christ and are cleansed of their sins by His shed blood,

- Love their enemies, do good to those who hate them, bless those who curse them, pray for those who despitefully abuse them. Luke 6.27-28 and find, in full and complete forgiveness of others, the full and complete forgiveness of God for their own sins that Jesus spoke of when He said,
'and when you stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any:  that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses'.  Mark 11.25-6

Pray that they will confess Jesus, not only as their Saviour, but also as their Lord...that they would not only believe that Jesus' death on the cross cleanses them from all sin, but OBEY what He tells them to do.
Pray that they would speak the words of the Bible everywhere and  authoritatively, as if they were spoken by Jesus in person and with His God-given authority, with all longsuffering,
*showing every person's guilt before God,
*showing God's angry displeasure (if needed to help the other see their sin as God sees it)
*urging ongoing obedience to God inspite of the continual allurement away by the world, the flesh and the Devil,
for all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. II timothy 3.16-7

Pray that among themselves they would daily:
read (Psalm 1.2f) and discuss the Bible with the purpose of practicing what God says.
pray (I Thess. 5.17) about everything, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. II Thess. 10.5
fellowship (Acts 2.42) involving confession of sin to one another, (James 5.16), doing good to each other, (Galatians 6.10), considering one another to provoke to love and good works (Hebrews 10.24),
lay down our lives for one another (I John 3.16) and breaking bread together.

Pray that they would not be deceived but stay away from evil company that corrupts good morals, whether it be evil in the form of a person, electronic communication I Corinthians 15.33, or the Devil. James 4.7
Pray that they train their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Pray that the children do what their parents say and that they show honor and respect to their parents.
