dear senator specter,
thank you, in advance, for not voting for the $819 billion bail out bill. i do not want to pay 1 cent in taxes for this. the Bible says owe no man anything but to love one another. please do not act in such a way that i am forced to disobey my God. in plain political parlance this is 'taxation without representation'.
if someone in government spends money that the taxpayer does not want spent they are complicit in stealing that money. let any help that is given at any level be voluntary not compulsive. God says 'thou shalt not steal'.
let the natural laws of supply and demand determine money issues. this works best since it does not violate any of God's commands. we cannot expect God's blessing if we ignore His commands. He is well able to do what needs to be done. our suffering is a very fine corrective for doing wrong. we learn through our suffering while premature aid hardens us in error. we are in this economic crisis because we have done wrong. let God work. He is much more merciful than you or i.
please let me know your thoughts. respectfully, stephen paine
