7.4.10 JESUS=GOD (john 1.1-17)

i'm beginning this on 4th of july (actually several days before) with the prayer that God may somehow use what is put here to bring true freedom to our family...father, mother, son, daughter, son and extended family on all sides.

Jesus said, 'if you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free...truly, truly I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. and the slave does not remain in the house forever. the Son does remain forever. if therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. john 8.31-2, 34-6

there are two conceptions of FREEDOM. the nearly unanimous choice is to conceive of freedom as THE ABILITY TO DO WHAT I WANT and the vast majority of humankind lives in accordance with this belief-desire, even the vast majority of people who would call themselves believers of or followers of Jesus...most times i am included, but God is working! however the correct conception of freedom is THE ABILITY TO DO WHAT GOD WANTS. by degrees God is changing those of us who have become the children of God by faith in Jesus.

above, Jesus shows that this second, and true, FREEDOM comes through the bible, because the bible is God's revelation of Himself...HE'S JESUS!!! Jesus is the only answer to our dilemma of being hopelessly under the righteous judgment of God and, thereby, condemned to hell for coming short of being just like God..perfect.

so this sight will be, dv, the place where one can see that the bible clearly reveals Jesus as God the Son, who along with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit form the triunity of the One true God. the way to true freedom is to, first, give your life completely to God and then to do whatever God says. most play games with God wanting forgiveness, the peace of God and His never-ending life, but concern themselves very little with the obedience part....well enough preaching...we begin.

john 1.1 - ...THE WORD WAS GOD. who is this Word?
1. IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD (john 1.1)..when time began, this Word already was (imperfect tense showing that this existence was already ongoing). He was outside of time, eternal, without beginning or end.
2. THE WORD WAS WITH GOD
3. ALL THINGS CAME INTO BEING BY HIM 1.3
4. IN HIM WAS LIFE 1.4
5. HE WAS IN THE WORLD 1.10..and the world did not know Him..
6. HE CAME TO HIS OWN 1.11..and those who were His own did not receive Him, but
7. as many as received Him TO THEM HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD, even to those who believe in his name..1.12
8. THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US.. 1.14 ..john bear witness of Him.. 1.15..and of His fulness have we all received and grace for grace. 1.16
9. FINAL EXPLANATORY COMMENTARY ON THIS WORD...for the law was given through moses . grace and truth were realized through JESUS CHRIST. no man has seen God at any time. the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
CONCLUSION: JESUS, GOD IN THE FLESH, IS NOT ONLY GOD'S EXPLANATION OF HIMSELF BUT HE IS GOD HIMSELF!
